Swachhta Pakhwada 2025 Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mamit District, Lengpui, Mizoram Day 1: Swachhta Pledge Day As part of the Swachhta Pakhwada 2025 (16-31 December) organized under the directives of ICAR and the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Mamit observed Swachhta Pledge Day on 16th December, 2025 at the KVK Training Hall, Lengpui, Mamit District, Mizoram. Participation A total of 17 staff members participated in the programme. The event was led by Dr. Vanlalhruaia Hnamte, Sr. Scientist & Head, KVK Mamit. Activities Conducted •Mass Administration of Swachhta Pledge: All staff members took the Swachhta Pledge reaffirming their commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. •Display of IEC Materials: Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials related to Swachhta Abhiyan were displayed at strategic locations within the KVK campus at Lengpui. •Swachh Bharat Anthem: The official Swachh Bharat Anthem was played to inspire and motivate participants towards the vision of a Clean India. •Swachhta Awareness Message: Awareness messages promoting cleanliness and hygiene were posted on the KVK website.
